ET’s sister company: Macclesfield Tutorial College

The main function of ET is to provide extra tutorial and support help for students and pupils already studying a course elsewhere.  That includes a wide range of institutions such as primary, secondary and comprehensive schools, sixth form colleges, further and higher educational establishments and students on distance learning courses.  Support tuition for these courses is provided at Macclesfield Tutorial College or when required and where possible in the student home.

Macclesfield Tutorial College

provides full-time and part-time courses  in Functional Skills, and many subjects at GCSE, IGCSE and GCE AS and A Levels.  Most courses are conducted to bespoke timetables for the individual and are taught on a on to one basis. Class lessons are also available – class size is limited to four students.  The college has been teaching successfully since 1995.  A wide range of people make use of the college – they range from  young people who see one to one or small group lessons as the way to obtain the best education and results, people unable or unwilling to attend large impersonal institutions for health or social reasons, people confined to their homes, to post graduates wanting to convert to medicine or veterinary science to adults wanting to return to education.

Macclesfield Tutorial College

is an examination centre both for its own students and in addition provides as a private examination centre an extensive service to students throughout the UK and abroad who come to Macclesfield Tutorial College to sit examinations and where required to receive tutorial support for their written papers and in preparation for oral, controlled assessment in many subjects and practical examinations in the sciences.
